![]() This series of hike and wine tours will take place at various state parks in the highlands of the Hudson River Valley. Explore the natural beauty, scenic overlooks, mountain streams and lakes that this region has to offer. Let our experienced guides take you on an unforgettable outdoor adventure with a relaxing and fun wine tasting tour afterwards. The focal point of this region is Harriman State Park - the second largest state park in New York - it is known as a haven for hikers with over 220 miles of hiking trails and woods roads. The park is also known for it's 32 lakes, mulitple cascading streams, numerous old iron mines, fantastic and varied terrain and great scenery. We will hike for approximately 4-5 hours over a variety of terrain - we will have plenty of breaks along the way to enjoy the views and take pictures. An alfresco picnic lunch at a scenic location will also be part of the day's activities. The second part of the day will consist of visiting two vineyards along the celebrated Shawangunk Wine Trail to sample some fine local hand crafted wines. What a better to end the day and relax than with a glass of wine. It's a perfect escape from our normal everyday....and who doesn't need that?!
